Tattoo Removal with PiCO Laser
Clear. Precise. Renewed.
Personalized Tattoo Removal Using Advanced PiCO Laser Technology
Tattoo removal at Zarina Aesthetics uses advanced picosecond laser technology designed to break tattoo ink into ultra-fine particles so your body can naturally clear them over time. Compared with older laser approaches, picosecond pulses are engineered to target pigment efficiently while helping minimize unnecessary impact on surrounding skin.
Our PiCO laser platform offers multiple wavelengths selected to match better different ink colors (for example, darker inks vs. brighter colors like reds, oranges, greens, and blues). This “color-specific” approach helps us customize treatment based on your tattoo’s ink palette, depth, and skin type—so results look natural as the tattoo fades.
Zarina Aesthetics Delivers Personalized Tattoo Fading Plans
No two tattoos are the same. We evaluate your ink colors, skin tone, location on the body, and any prior tattoo treatments to create a safe, step-by-step plan aimed at clearer skin with a smoother healing experience.

QUESTIONS? WE'VE GOT ANSWERS.
It delivers ultra-short (picosecond) pulses that are absorbed by tattoo pigment, helping fragment ink into smaller particles for the body to clear.
Different wavelengths are used for different ink colors—commonly including darker inks and colors like red/yellow/orange and green/blue, depending on skin type and ink.
Certain wavelengths are indicated for specific Fitzpatrick skin types, and one wavelength is indicated broadly across skin types—your provider will choose the safest option for you.
It varies based on ink density, colors, tattoo depth, age of the tattoo, and whether it’s professional vs. amateur. Denser pigment usually needs more sessions.
Temporary whitening/“frosting” or greying of the ink can be an expected endpoint right after treatment.
Most patients describe it as quick snaps against the skin. We can discuss comfort options based on the area and your sensitivity.
You may experience redness, swelling, tenderness, or mild skin sensitivity afterward. Your provider will guide aftercare to support calm healing.
Possible effects can include temporary redness/swelling, blistering/crusting, pigment changes (hyper/hypopigmentation), and—rarely—scarring or infection. Proper settings and aftercare reduce risk.
Rarely, certain pigments (including inks containing titanium or zinc) may darken with laser treatment. We may recommend a test spot when appropriate.
Treatment may not be appropriate for people with recent unprotected sun exposure, certain photosensitizing medications, pregnancy/breastfeeding, active infections in the area, seizure disorders triggered by light, history of keloids/healing issues, or recent isotretinoin use (among others). A consultation helps confirm candidacy.
